Well....It came in last week actually, but just got around to snapping a few photo's and doing a little experimenting with the panels. I've been blasting the Therapy through it and also blasting my stereo into in for about a week and a half. The Golds are sounding sweet! I've also wired it up at 4 ohm's to start and then changed it to 16 ohm. Not sure if it is the speakers breaking in or the ohm change, but 16 sounds better to my ears. Kinda less middy and deeper low end. Might change it back to 4 ohm and test to make sure. The cab build is roughly Dr Z size, but I wanted an angled front. It's 10 deep on top, 11 deep on the bottom. Not much, but it does make a difference. It is a little lighter than the Z 4x10 birch ply cab, but not as much as I was hoping. It was light as a feather before I installed 24 lbs of speakers! It was sounding better and better due to the Gold's loosening up, but still I was hearing some congestion type tone & feel. I got to thinking about guiltrip's thread about the back panels on convertible cab's this morning and took the bottom panel off. YEAH!! There it was! Much better. More open, less congested and much better low end. I then took the top panel off and it was even better to my ears. I've already contacted Mr Mather about making me some smaller panels or modifying these. It was a long wait, but totally worth it. The Therapy sounds amazing with this cab!!

Wow! That's a great looking cab, and a great looking rig. I think the angled idea is an awesome one. Therapy through 4 golds...holy smokes! Some people are just over achievers. ;p. Btw, what speaker cable is that?

So is that a speaker cable or a garden hose?
Wow...

Shortening the top panel will add highs as the shortening or removal of bottom panel will extend the Bass and remove congestion.

I like the slope of the speakers how they tilt ever so slight. I bet it helps with the sound path to the ears quite a bit. Nice cab bro !

Mather did the replacement cab for my 60 brown Concert. Great workmanship. Congratulations.

Looks great. As you mention weight, any thought to keeping 2 golds and pairing the w 2 other lighter speakers w a different sound?

Very Cool, Mark! Peter really does top-notch work. Delighted with mine, too!
(Looks like somebody else besides me removed his Therapy's back mesh grille ....)

I half thought of getting 2 Greenbacks to pair with the Golds, but I'll deal with the weight. The Golds are opening up and I am over the moon with this cab. The Therapy pushing it is a match made in Z heaven!!
