So I read in one of the threads that some of you are using an alternative to velcro. I need a memory refresh on this one. From what I recall it is a tape used to adhere address signs to houses or something to that idea. Please let me know what this miracle tape is since as you can see below my pile of effects need placements very soon. The wife is tired of my pile of spaghetti. I have a turbo-tuner replacing the BOSS tuner. Also have a turbo-tuner to replace the BOSS tuner. The fun will be to see how to incorporate the Adrenalinn into the mix. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

The double-sided tape Nicholas recommended works VERY WELL. No Velcro for me now....

This stuff is brilliant! Okay, it's a royal PAIN to try and get the cover tape off it - I have ruined more small bits of tape than I can count - but when you get the knack, it's easy. I have binned ALL my Velcro; I move my pedals around no problem (just don't set the sticky side down on the carpet, so no fluffy mess! Use a piece of greaseproof paper from the kitchen if you want to store a pedal somewhere - easy) My pedal board gets upended, upside down, chucked around, and when I Used Velcro, the pedals ALWAYS moved around - with this tape, they stay put. 'Nuff said.

I use the high test 3m stuff and heavy duty velcro, too. I've never had a problem with pedals shifting during transport unless I didn't stick them to the board solidly. I don't use huge chunks of the stuff, especially for the mini pedals I use on my nano board so it's paramount to get the strips I put on the bottom in just the right place on the board or they're just holding air. In the end it's what works best for the individual. If the dual sided tape works run it. If the velcro's more your style ditto. Or we can all aspire to be like LP and Chet- guitar, cable, amp.

Thanks fellow Z members. I have the new tuner coming in today and a Lava cabling kit so I should be up and running later this week. I have canned the Adrenalinn II on the pedalboard since it is not true bypass and it does indeed color the sound a bit too much. I'll use it for just messing around.
