Hi all, This week I brought my Ghia LE with its matching 1x10 combo cab (loaded with a Gold) to praise band rehersal. I thought it would be cool having a lower wattage amp and that I would be able to crank it up a bit in the 400 seat church sanctuary.
lol
Not even close to being too big of a room, not even close. I used the master volume to bring down the volume a lot!
I have the volume set at noon, tone at 11 o'clock and the Master volume all the way down to 9 o'clock and I still was playing with my guitar volume to get a little quieter! lol I smiled all evening playing thru it, what a fun amp and its sooooo darn cute in its little lunch box with the 1x10 under neath it!!!!
fun little huge amp . . . .

Tried my new to me 1x12 Greenback loaded Ghia combo at rehearsal for Sunday just the other night. The amp is isolated in a side room and I am fed everything through in-ears. (Funny to hear that Ghia behind that door like a caged animal trying to get out.)
Soon as I get a Brake Lite I will feel a bit better about the volume even though it is isolated. Next I just need to start working out to deal with the weight I am not used to yet!
Congrats Todd!

18 Z watts with a Gold? Try a Maz 8 with a Gold (or Creamback or G12h or Jensen P12Q) - still loud enough for 170 people. Z's are very unforgiving and LOUD amplifiers.

I use my Ghia on Sunday's through a 1x12 creamback. I run it at about 11:00, but the GV is only about halfway. Gotta love the beauty in simplicity.

I also have a Ghia LE. I rarely use the Master Volume. My brake lite is an essential part of my sound. Great amp!
