Hi guys, I have done a fair amount of research but before i commit i'd appreciate your input. I play 90% LP humbuckers/P90s, 10% strat/tele, usually blues, rock. I mainly jam with friends in our mancaves so it doesnt need to be stadium loud. I was set on the Maz Jr or Maz8 but recently got steered towards the Remedy. Will it play nice with others at half power with a 1/12 in a basement? will i still need a brake-lite?
What do you guys think?
It does sound like i can't go wrong with any of the Z amps, offering retro-fit mods and actual aftersales care is very impressive.

It's a loud amp that sounds awesome cranked! You may want to consider a Master volume model or buy one without and have it upgraded by the doc. Todd

Remedy rocks! With the master volume you should be ok.

Great first amp though you can't go wrong with the Maz Jr. or Maz 8. Remedy will need a MV or attenuator if you really want it to cook!

Should be great as long as you get the master volume and eq bypass newer model. A Creamback 97 db speaker also makes a huge difference.

I have the older Remedy without the MV...although the 1/2 power switch does pull it back some, it can still be quite loud with an efficient speaker set-up. Lower efficiency speakers will let you push the tubes harder...Greenbacks sound GREAT with the Remedy, and that amp really sounds better the more you can crank it.

If you get one without the master volume, get a brake lite for sure.

Many thanks guys, hopefully i don't start a volume war with my band mates I've been offered a few with and without the mods, I've a feeling this won't be my only Z Count on that. When I started out I thought one would be plenty... I've now lost count. And every single one had its own unique sound - figure that out!
