I almost had myself totally sold on getting a Route 66 for my first Z. Then I started reading up on the Remedy. Now I understand the Z madness. It's like he just keeps building the most unique and amazing tone machines that it's nearly impossible to pick ONE. The Remedy has just jumped to my #1 consideration for maiden Z voyage.
Something about this 4 6V6 on a Marshall type platform, not to mention PPIMW and tone stack bypass, PLUS power switching??? Seems incredibly versatile in every way. I'm blown away, the more I learn about Z's amps. Wow.
And I'm in the market for a Z Best, as well, if any of you happen to have one for sale.
I think I'm still too new to see the buy and sell page, still wet behind the ears here.
Thanks, all...this is loads of fun!

In scanning some other threads, I see some guys are using two 1x12 cabs with the Remedy. Jeez, I love all these ideas that come pouring through here!

A forum member has a black Remedy for sale in the BST section...good price, too! Perhaps he will see this and PM you?

Great...if you don't mind PM-ing him and letting him know, that would be great. If not, that's cool.
Many thanks..

You guys rock. Thanks. So, Jaguarguy...why no Remedy? :-) I've had two already - traded the last one recently for an SRZ65 LE and my first one, along with my Stangray, for a Soldano SLO.

I love my Remedy. It's so versatile, great clean tones, rocks like crazy and is great with pedals. Master volume and eq bypass made all the difference because with a couple of different cabinet configurations I can use it anywhere. Small room with a 1-12 Creamback to outdoor festival stage with a 4-12.

Made-Man, I am in Kansas, near Kansas City. You can PM me details on the Z best, if you wish!
The rest of you are incorrigible! :-) Let's see...how many amp heads and how many cabs do I need now???

I came to be a part of the Z family about 9 months ago with the purchase of my Remedy. I love it love it love it. I haven't had the opportunity to play any other Z's but I'm sure if I did then I'd probably be poorer than I am now. It all depends on what you want in an amp but it's hard to go wrong with the Remedy in my book.

Welcome to the forum Rick. Your wallet is about to get a lot lighter : ) (the voice of experience is talking!)
My initial Z was also a Rem…..killer amp….highly recommended. It covers a lot of bases and is LOUD if you need it to be, but can also be dialed back down for smaller gigs without losing tone.

As you can see, a guy can get carried away here. Most of these are gone (except my Remedy) but now I have a Ghia combo and a Therapy head to go with the Remedy. These amps are like Lays Potato Chips - you can NOT eat just one.

Hope this helps lol Todd Heck, as a hobby it's got to be cheaper than flying and the sounds are infinitely better. It doesn't even have to be THAT expensive a hobby and it is immensely rewarding. The only thing holding me back from buying a 3rd Z amp is that I don't gig much if at all these days. That said, if I could actually get a few gigs lined up I'm sure I could rationalize buying just one more .

More gigs and more amps are wonderful things. I can't imagine anyone here would disagree.

The only downside with more amps (aside from the obvious womanly scorn and monetary considerations) is a space issue. My man-cave isn't anywhere near as big as Jaguarguy's and between cases, cabs and other miscellania I'm running out of room. I guess this probably explains my love of amp heads as opposed to combos.

Might be time for a new man cave or a new house Just kidding, I have the same thing going on here.
