Man I got to say I love this little sucker. Outside of a few up for sale I have not seen it get much love lately. I use it mostly with a shorty cab as a grab and go type set up for small situations and practice minus the drummer. With a clamshell cover it is my back up at every gig.
I love the MV, all I bring is a WET and I'm good to go. The drive is great V=1, MV=9, T to taste depending on guitar/pickups. I do not own a P90 guitar but the other guitar player in the band does and plays it from time to time. Sounds killer almost like it was made for P90s. I also run a old megnatone lap steel with it and it kills!

Well I don't have the MV Ghia, but the Ghia, regular, is my favorite amp ever. I have been messing with a Monza I picked up for a few months but when I play it with the Ghia sometimes I feel like it just doesn't have the same fullness of sweet attitude that the Ghia has.
Often I think what I really want for the 'lead/overdrive' tone is a Anniversary Ghia and crank it up using the MV to make sure the volumes are complimentary. I have an LP with P90's and that is my favorite sound with the Ghia 2x10 cab with Eminence Legend 10516's

The Ghia is my favorite amp ever. So responsive to tube (and speaker) changes, that once you find the tubes that get you the sound you are after, there is no turning back. Great sounding amp and could not be simpler to use.
