Well, she's landed and I gotta say, she's a beauty! Super light...for a MIM guitar, this thing is off the charts light! It's in need of a little better setup, I just dialed it in quick, added some new strings and started twangin on it! Man...it's a lively beast. Getting used to the small frets will take me some time as well...just had my 52ri refretted with BIG frets...need some time with this guitar. She's amazing, clean, light, and growls!!! Nice blonde finish that has more of a cream color than white...you can see the grain as well. Camera doesn't do this thing justice! Couldn't be happier.

Gosh Stan, I am not 100% sure what to tell you...it's not thin...feels more C like to me, not huge but not small by no means. My old 52 ri is small and thin.

Yea Mark thanks, that's my concern I'm looking at some Tele purchase options and I don't want to end up with the small and thin necks.

I have little hands so most necks feel a bit bigger to me anyway...but, I am quite sure the new 50's and 60's classic series teles have larger necks. 7.25 radius and vintage frets.

yup that 7.25 and vintage frets is what i'm trying to avoid

Try the BAJA series...if you want some Vintage flare with modern appointments...

Unfortunately I do not have any experience with those, Stan. Throw a post up here with what you're looking for and see what the general consensus is on model suggestions.

Got both highway one series...the texas tele is a 12" radius,the hgwy 1 is 9.25 radius ?
texas tele is mo substantial...if you can get your hands on nice texas do it...highway 1 is a nice little axe too,new pickguards, knobs ect.
Put nocasters in both...kaboom! nice little American tele.
