Has anyone tried the Sea Blue EQ by bearfoot? I Bought one and have been using it a while and it is one of my fav pedals. I just about leave it on all the time. It is a good pedal to add punch and as a treble boost. It is one of those pedals that you can add a touch or a lot and it can kick some butt. I would imagine it would be killer with the new Therapy.

Hey John, Are you using this stand alone or on pedal board with other effects? Todd

I've got one too. Sometimes less options are better if the ones that are picked are picked wisely. Old Neve EQ's and Pultec EQ's don't have tons of options as far as frequency and bandwidth go but the the ones they picked made those pieces classic.
The Sea Blue EQ's 2 bands, bass & treble really feel perfect to subtly enhance the sound of electric guitar through a tube amp. This pedal really excels with smaller amps. You can make them 'bigger' without maxing out headroom. Due to the wide, gentle curve on the 2 EQ points it never sounds crazy. I've said it before but it really feels like having a Neve on your pedalboard.
I've used mine on the pedalboard and also by itself for recording, mostly at home with the little Vox AC-4 TV. The SBEQ makes that amp "bigger" sounding even with pretty extreme attenuation.

I used one for a while and mostly at lower volumes at home/sketch recording w/ an attenuated Z-28 and Ghia. Roscoenyc makes a great point regarding 'embiggening' small amps. It really helped replace the more spatial feel that can be lost when attenuating with a heavy hand.

Todd I use it on my pedal board. It is such a simple pedal that adds lots of tone with just simple EQ's and not real hard. You can also take an amp on the edge of breakup and give it a shove that has a nice quality to it. I've used it on small and large amps and it adds a punch that I really like. Roscoe has it pegged to. I bought it and tried and just thought this was a pedal that sounds great without getting to extreme.

I've had one quite a while. I leave it on most all the time. It's just a great EQ tone pedal.
