Today I welcomed a new phase inverter to the little neighborhood of tubes inside my Z28. He made all of 'em sound considerably better. Public Service Announcement: don't neglect your phase inverter.

Great advice. I seem to remember Myles preaching this to be one of the hardest working tubes and worth changing at every power tube or at least every other power tube change. (I hope I got that right Myles, don't want to misquote.)

This is the second time over the years where a PI refresh has really made a noticeable difference for me.
