Hey guys, I've owned three Z's and the Ghia was by far my favorite....kicking myself dailey that I sold it. Mine was about 2 months old and sold the head for $850. Is that a decent price for a fairly new/used Ghia head? I'm going to start browsing for another used Ghia that's fairly new but in the used market. I really like the new logo on the front.

I've seen them going ranging from $850 (which I see more commonly) to $950 (on the high end). That's just for the head though. I've even seen them as low as $750, but they got snatched up quick.

Thanks, that's sort of what I figured. If I see one for $750ish I'll grab it pronto! Thanks! I had the M12 and found it sort of timid in the volume area. I don't know why but I could crank that bad boy in my bedroom and felt like I wanted more volume. The Ghia I felt personally was louder or just as loud as the Maz 18. I couldn't get the Ghia up past noon without tearing my ears to pieces, and the Maz could be cranked to about 75% before I was begging for mercy.
I liked the Maz pretty good, but the Ghia seemed softer around the edges, and it had a more earthy hollow tone which I DIG.

that (750-850) seems about right for a head, and the combo will bring/cost another hundred... unless it has red fangs, golds or a blue. The speaker can add dollars, but the cab not so much.

Thanks for pointing me to the BST section. I'm really stuck on a recent model with new logo. Call me superficial and shallow, but I want one that looks just like my previous one if I can get it. I sold this entire rig to pay off my car a couple years ago....wish I'd kept the Ghia and LP!!!

Hope you can score one soon. Great amp.
Fwiw, I got a used head in 2011 for $815 with shipping. I swapped the chassis into a 1x10 combo.

Hmmm...us sorry Brits pay in pounds what those of you in the US hand over in dollars...so that's around 0,6 times more. $800 for a used Ghia in the US equates to c. $1300 in the UK...
