Hey everyone! Just thought I'd say hi. I play in a cover band in Vegas and just picked up my first Z...a beautiful 1x12 Carmen Ghia combo, complete with a Celestion Blue and Brake Lite!
I've had it for about 3 weeks now, and we've been gigging a lot. I am now a Carmen Ghia fan for life. I've never used or heard a better amp.
I am now planning on getting a second Ghia combo with the 2x10s as a backup and slightly different flavor of the same awesome!

Z amps are addictive - before you know it, you'll be wondering about the Maz 18, or the Z28, or any number of other models. They are all outstanding, but they are all different too! Great report!

How do you use it for your cover band? Mostly clean-ish and pedals for different tones OR a few changes to tone and volumes for different songs. The Ghia is my favorite amp that I've ever owned....

Congrats! The Ghia is a real fine amp, mine came with a blue too. Give it a little bit and that speaker will sound better and better. Enjoy!

Yeah...running it right on that edge of break up with my pedals for different tones...we cover everything from Zac Brown Band to Zeppelin and pretty much everything in between...and the Ghia seems like the perfect platform! For me anyway This my pedalboard, although I just changed the order of the distortion stage so they stack better. And as far as volume, I have been running at about 10 o' clock with the brake lite on 2. Sits perfectly in the mix with my 3 piece band, and the venues won't let me run it any louder lol

Nice ... I've recently put my pedal board into a loop ,via the radial bigshot efx, so that I can get the guitar straight into the ghia tone with as little interference as possible. The Ghia has an extremely sensitive circuit or something because I can HEAR the difference in volume with the amp. I had no been able to hear the difference in any other amp I've used before including amps twice as expensive. After about 2 years I'm getting more and more in love with this amps sound and I'm drawn to its voice.
too bad you've got to keep it reasonable volumes in the club ....
have fun

Welcome to the forum! There's a lot of good guys here.
I agree about Zs becoming addictive. I've just bought my 3rd one.
The Ghia is a fantastic amp that I've found to be plenty loud for just about any playing situation I've been in.
