There's an artical in the new Vintage Guitar where they try different NOS 6V6 tubes. I found it pretty vague and it wasn't much of a comparison, but it may be of interest to some of you.

The VG article wasn't really any use. They should have included some new tubes as a baseline.

i haven't gotten my new issue yet. do they rebias the amp so that the tubes are all on somewhat of a common ground?

The article discusses the tubes in such general terms that it's useless. I don't there are any specs given.

LOL.... i just read the article last night. my favorite part was when it says something like, "but Lollar P90s would also sound great through a Honda Civic...." i'm not sure if that meant good or bad because with the right set of mods, Civics can be really mean cars. you guys are right. that article said a whole lot of nothing.
