Stupid question but how do you get the end cap/covers off? Mine is loose on my cab and rattles. I want to take it off but it won't just pop or slide off. I know it has to be simple but...

You would think so...I did bugger mine up...WARNING...be very carefull to not damage...ive bought two replacements (different companys) that are terrible...the chrome is absolute garbage. The original quality is mo way better. how I did it is I took 6 inch metal ruler (electrical tape) the end so not to damage tolex...butt it up against the handle end with the small notch exposed and small flat head try to gently pry off...seems simple enough

I find it works best if you pry from the side by the strap. Pull up the strap to help you get under the lip.

I don't know what your technic is ..but that was not goint to work for me brudda... as it is hooked from the inside.
"Once off cap217 secure screws...1st one (close to handle) is machined t nut,2nd is your stop screw (plain wood)"

I am going to dr z's tomorrow so he can show me how to get it off. I have to go to pick an amp up anyways. He's a nice guy. I will report back whatever I learn.

He'll tell you just how I did...cause he called me with the low down on how to...the butting of the ruler (metal) is my trick.
It helps put pressure (not a lot) on the cap to pop off...because hooked from inside the handle side...look at mojo website/hiwatt.Or angelas marshall handle youll see.

So if one rattles and you want to keep it on there, what do you do? Looks like they pop on and there is no way to tighten the cap.
