Hello everyone. Still searching for a LP burst that's worth the coin. Once I start spending $3000 and up for a guitar , I tend to get picky. When I hit $5000 , I'm more picky. What do you guys think of this one ?

I prefer a less orange/cherry sunburst but the figure is nice on that axe and if the color suits you, run it. We all have bellybuttons and hence, opinions too. Good luck on your quest.

I'm torn with it being borderline CLOWNBURST. On the fence. Looking for other opinions.

Recently got this R0, described as Iced Tea. Not necessarily a fan of a thin neck, but that guitar sure is pretty.

It is a little bright for me compared to something like the Iced Tea.

I've got a similar colored Cherry burst from 1973. I prefer either my 1968 Black Beauty or my 1973 Brown Bursts. I like the Iced Tea Burst as well!

Man, if you like the burst then go for it. To each his own. Seriously. I can see why you like the burst on that Gibby. Given that any one of our monitors may skew the red/orange colors and our own optical deficiencies may also contirbute you must remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That's a fine looking guitar and with 20+ years of honest use it'll look different than it does now. If the guitar speaks to you go for it. That's what makes the whole thing so awesome. Some of us like tribursts, sweat tea bursts, or even the muleskinner burst and others prefer solid colors or faded finishes. Likewise some of us like 6V6 vs 6L6 or El84. It's all up to you and what YOU like. You'll kick yourself if it sells and you had it in your grasp and didn't pull the trigger.

I'd probably have to get my hands on it to decide for sure. Problem is , there's another VOS guitar on eBay , with a lighter red fade for $1000 more I'm looking at. Question is , which one will I kick myself for , if it sells ? It looks like an older faded version of this one. Hmm.......
