Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

I have been eyeing that 1/10 combo...for too long.Had ghia 1/10 combo with fang...didn't bond with teles like I hoped for.
Suggestion was made to put greenback 10 in z28 1/10 combo...the more I think about that....yeah.

The 10" Tone Tubby AlNiCo is a great speaker. The Ceramic version is great too. The only thing I worry about is they are very warm and a little high's rolled off the very top. If you have any issues with the Z28 not having enough sparkle, stay away from them.

Definitely Tone Tubby. I really liked my 12" with the Z-28 (although, I still prefer the G12H-30 a little better). If the 10" is anything close to the 12" (which it should be) then it'll be a good pairing--very bold & authoritative.

I don't know any amp manufacturer who puts more time into pairing the right speakers with his amps like the Dr.

I did not like the Red Fang 10" with this amp - WAY too mid heavy in a mid heavy amp. It seemed to lose all its top end. I know others have found it okay though......
Never played a Tone Tubby
