I got my 25th Anniversary blonde head 2 days ago so took it straight out on a rehearsal last night. I have a Z 1x12 cab loaded with a creamback. As I've had an older Ghia head a couple of years ago I knew what to expect and it sounded great doing the classic rock stuff (what I mainly play), however I'm tempted to swap the speaker for my V30 for tonight's practise. I had the master dimed and the volume at around noon and I've got it in my head that it didn't sound as good as the V30 used too. I know the V30 will be much louder but I guess I can just roll the master back to compensate. I guess I'll make the swap and give it a go tonight while the sounds are fresh in my mind.

Always liked the V30 better with Ghia, great combo.
However after a speaker shoot out, like the Heritage Greenback the best
love the Creamback with the M12, keeping that combination
Didn't care for the cream back with the Ghia myself,

Thanks for the feedback, I'm definitely going to make the swap today. Just watched David Grissom talking about speakers again and he favourites the V30 in his setup. I think he has one of the best rock sounds around.
