Wish this happened more often: I was at band rehearsal last night and using Maz 38 senior head through Avatar 1-12 with g12h75 creamback with new Rickenbacker 660/6. It was sounding pretty good until I cranked the master all the way & volume @ 3:00 / cut @ 8:00 / bass @ 8:00 / mid @ 11:00 / treble @10:00 / reverb barely on. Then it sounded so good to me I was afraid I wouldn't remember the settings for next time. I was able to control sparkly clean to semi dirty to a massive sounding lead tone that still had a little clean content to my ears with guitar volume knob. Was I too loud? damn right I was. And I didn't care. This was at a theater that seats about 400. When this tone zone thing happens it feels like the guitar is playing itself and you play over your head beyond your skill and ability. Anybody been in the zone lately?

Yes, and with the Maz Sr too, and apparently I was WAY to loud also... and even with airbreak on 2 clicks... Man I'd really like to use the Maz Sr more, But the club we are usually gonna be in is a very small lively room... soooo back to the workhorse Maz Jr and/ or the M 12 which I have been continuously very impressed with.
