Well, the bad news for my wife is that she got called to a meeting this evening, won't be home till later in the evening.
My first thought was, Great! I get to spend a little time working with that new Creamback that I haven't got to hear yet!
Is that wrong of me...
I have had a Remedy for a while, and the 20 watt setting through a greenback has become one of my favorites tones I've ever stumbled onto. I've heard so many great things about the Creamback that I had to try one. So it's loaded up in a 1x12 and ready to go, but this week has been busy and I haven't had a chance to plug it in yet. I'll report back.

Hey, you didn't arrange for the meeting (did you? ). It would be wrong NOT to try out the new speaker since fate chose to give you this opportunity. Looking forward to the report!

Just don't exhibit so much glee that she thinks you were having a great time without her

Yeah...act sad that she won't be there--then when she gets home you can play here some sad blues song with your Remedy!!!

What call did the neighbors get? Yeah, I agree about that Creamback and the 20 watt, but when I've opened up the 40 watt - LOOK OUT! Make sure she doesn't come home for lunch.

I still have a Greenback loaded in a 1x12 also. I'm looking forward to doing some head to head comparison of the two. I'm hoping the Creamback retains that Greenback feel. My band plays at what I'll call a medium volume. I've been in far louder and I've tried to play quieter. I think the 20 watt setting with a Greanback is almost perfect for stage volume. I can get the remedy cranked up and with the less efficient greenback, not be too loud. The Creamback being 97 as opposed to 98 db, I think will be great.

Does your Rem have a MV and tone-stack bypass? I'm guessing not since you're using the 20 watt option. kc

I've been thinking about the Mods, but I like it so well just as it is. Kinda torn about sending it in for the upgrades.

Although it actually IMO does make the AMP much easier to distort and somewhat harder to get crystal clear cleans. Right now I don't have a Creamback. I have Doc 2x10's and My Z WRECK cab.

I don't see myself changing this setup any time soon. The MV is extremely useful too - and I'm always using the 40 watt setting. kc
