Have any of you beloved Z bros know if there is any way to get a reverse Remedy faceplate from the Doc or Brent in order to put a head chassis into a combo cab? I've always wanted a Remedy but knew it would be too loud for my needs until the MV mod came out and might meet my needs now. My only problem is I need a combo, I can't do the head/cab thing, I need grab/n/go. Thanks!!

I doubt a reverse face plate exists due to the fact there is only 1 style of Remedy which is a head version. You could possibly make a matching piece of sheet metal and get the graphics reversed. Seems like a lot of work. The head/cab is quite easy to carry around. The combo amps can be heavy.

Just have the faceplate upside down - you can still read it that way, can't you? Oh wait a min, do you mean a front facing combo? I see where that wouldn't work, but what about a ZWreck style combo? That would work without any changes..........
I've gone the other way with the Remedy - always been a combo man - but the weight would be way too much for me as a combo, even a 1x12.

Thanks Pete, I hadn't seen the Z Wreck combo yet. A top facing combo would be perfect! I'd probably be better off having a clone cab built than the odds of finding an empty Z Wreck combo(more color choices too) I've used TheCabGuy online before and he does great cab builds. I didn't realize how heavy the Remedy is, 11 more pounds than my Maz....OUCH. I actually don't own a Remedy yet, but now that it has PPIMV I need to try one. I just can't seem to get the Marshall tones I'm wanting out of my Maz JR. Close... but not quite my what I'm hearing in my head.

A Remedy head in one hand, A Dr. Z or Avatar 1-12 cabinet with a Creamback in the other and you're set. I had a Maz Jr combo. In fact, I had a 2-10 and a 1-12. The head and speaker cabinet is really as easy to manage and easier to carry.

You could go with a top loader cabinet like the new Z Wreck combo. Companies Sour Mash, Mojotone & Gabkits are three that come to mind that make a variety of bluesbreaker style cabinets.

You'll never get a DrZ ZWreck combo cab empty - too new an amp at this stage, so a custom build sounds perfect! I'd tend to go for a lightweight pine cab in that case - or maybe Harvey would build one? For the tones you hear in your head, you NEED a Remedy no matter what shape it comes in
