I know, can you believe I just said my Remedy is well behaved?? Its true, when I want it to be that is. I've been using my 2013 Remedy with the MV at church with my praise for a long while now. I hardly ever turn on an OD pedal, I barely use reverb and when I want to kick it a bit I use my Lizard Leg Fyling Dragon to boost the front end and get my OD cranked up that way. The plexi sounds the amp produces have been working really well at church because I like to have a crisp overdrive that doesn't growl too much and I can get this very easily with the Remedy. When I hit the boost I can snarly overdrive very easily. When I first got the amp I had it paired up with a 2x12 loaded with G12-65's and it had a great rock and tone but was a bit much. I am now using a 2x12 cab loaded with a pair of V-30s and it really did change the flavor of the overdrive I get with a bit less growl and more of a sizzle. Love it. Don't be affraid of this amp, the half power switch is awesome, the MV is awesome and depending on what you are doing you can really dial in a lot of different tones and various volumes to suit different venus or even at Church Todd

I've found the Remedy can do a bunch of things. You gave a great description of what the Remedy can do, and it can do much more. In fact, the only thing that I wouldn't recommend it for is metal.

I couldn't agree more. I use the half power switch depending on my setup and have been quite pleased.

AMEN! I used mine the other night at a strange practice - lots of rock and indie music, but quiet enough for the singer to go un-mic'ed. Remedy, 20W, MV at barely 9 o'clock, Hi and Normal V maxed, GV and EQ Bypass used extensively. The Remedy just delivered........ it did not sound anything like the poo of the other amps throttled back that far! The difference is I can go from that, to window shattering and it just sounds better and better STILL loving this amp!

You don't need an attenuator with the 20/40 switch and master volume. You can go from pretty quiet to loud and proud. I have 3 different cabinets that I use with my Remedy. A 1-12 open back with a Creamback for small rooms, a Z Best for bigger rooms and small outdoor gigs and a 2-12 closed back that I run with the Z Best for festival gigs. The Remedy really is the only amp I use anymore for electric guitar. A few pedals and the EQ bypass is all I need.

Between the MV and the half power switch you can really dial it back. One thing that gets over looked with this amp too is how good it sounds clean. Nice clean sustain, warm and fat notes. Very tasty
