I'm ordering a Z28 1x12 combo tomorrow. I know they come with a greenback, but I just bought a 1x12 z cab with a creamback and I'm really digging that speaker w my antidote. It seems more rounded and smoother sounding with the perfect bass response. I thought about swapping the green for the cream. Any suggestions?? Has Doc already nailed down the perfect speaker? It's been a looong time since I played a '28! I'm getting anxious!

My Remedy & Z28 sound mighty fine with my Creamback. I'm thinking you're Antidote will sound even better with two Creambacks!

Creamback, unless you like a lot of mids, then the Greenback IMHO

I never tried a Greenback with my Z28, but I did try a single Creamback M with it. The Creamback sounded great with my Remedy & Antidote, but I didn't like it as much with my Z28.
If I was getting a Creamback for my Z28, I'd go with the Creamback H. It has a little more high's and a little less mid's. 100db though....

Good point Mark on the 100dB!
I'm using the G12 65, which has a similar freq profile to the Creamback H, according to Celestion, but is 97dB, and is quite a bit cheaper than the Creamback too. It works just perfectly with both my Z28 and Remedy.
