Some of use guys have the ghia and the maz jr...The maz is to me so much smoother on the ears.I know there are a lot of factors as to why it is...but same guitar in each amp?
My question is if the ghia were to have cut knob (fixed) were on the dial to your ears is it...

"were on the dial to your ears is it...(iyho) or not so (ho)." Huh?
I wouldn't want anything to change about the Ghia, it's perfect.
I've played a Maz Jr briefly...'meh'...too many knobs...
YMMV

I a/b'd them before buying my ghia, and it seemed like they had a similar tone with the cut knob up pretty high. Can't be much more specific than that though it was quite a while ago!

"were on the dial to your ears is it...(iyho) or not so (ho)." Huh? If you can't simplify it anymore, can you grammatically clear it up?

Well, the Ghia has a simpler circuit, right?...less stuff between the guitar and the speaker. I would think that would account for a noticeable difference with the same guitar and all. The tone circuits are quite different...I think a cut knob on the Ghia would be almost redundant.
