I've owned and played some nice gear over the years and I've enjoyed playing it all, but I've never had a total experience like a did last night playing with my drummer buddy. I've been chasing tones and sounds....Ideas of what I'd most enjoy playing or what I wanted to sound like...how to compliment a bandmate or a song, but I've never found " MY SOUND" until last night. I've owned my Ghia for over a year and been enjoying it ever since day one. I recently removed the head from my 2x10 combo ( z 10's ) and was thinking of getting a 1x12 cab for it, but I've got this cheap Audiozone 2x10 cab that I put a pair of Eminence Legend 10516's in it....I wasn't to impressed with them at first, BUT LAST NIGHT boy howdy did I find everything and more that I could want in a sound....It's the first time that I've felt total connectedness with my gear and total satisfaction and peace with it as well. Every guitar had it's own voice and I was able to speak with each of them. I wish I could explain it better.......A few pictures of the culprits

Tone Nirvana indeed. That's such a rush when it all comes together like that!!! Mentally orgasmic! Glad you got to catch that buzz.....
PS: That tele really looks sick, man....Butterscotch and tortoise shell pickguard! Very retro/dressy! Dig!

For some reason the NW loves those Silvertone amps....must be cause of all the "hipsters" ... Even tho your in Seattle, try putting a bird on it and see how that feels.

birkenstocks are so 1990's bro...we just wear shoes that other people throw in dumpsters now...using money is so square. Our city motto is," Digging through the trash is better than spending the cash. "
