i cant say enough about the build quality for the money,, ordered a big bottom open back 1/12 cab, shipped the next day, about 128 plus ship, 177 total,, these are fine cabs, front mounted speaker though, very lightweight,,i only happened to see their name somewhere and went to the website,, only drawback is it took about 9 days to get from california, ups,, i will order another one. avatar is a fine product, but lopo line is right up there,,

Yup, I agree, I bought a 1x12 a couple of years ago. The only issue I had is the grill cloth stretched and sagged a little bit after awhile, but I don't consider this a major problem (I can always re-stretch it, I figure). If I ever decide to go with a 2x12 cab, I'll buy one of their 2x12 open/closed back convertibles - the prices seem reasonable.

Some guys say to use a hair dryer on saggy grille cloth. I haven't tried it so no opinion either way.

One time I left my Maz 38 in my car trunk face up. It was in a padded cover. I put my Manhassett Traveler on top of the amp. The Manhasset also has a bag/cover and I had my very heavy gig music book in there as well. It made a pretty deep crease in the grille cloth of the amp. I talked to the store salesman and he said to heat it up with a hairdryer. I never did because after a week or so it fixed itself but that's what he said to do.

I just got a Lopo 1X12 this week. The speaker jack wasn't even wired up, had to solder the wire on there, and there is a spot where the glue got away from them, other than that, you can't beat it for the money.

I have 2 of their 1x12 cabs and so far the cabs are fine. The wiring and jack is not the best, I replaced both in my cabs but if you are willing to do that then you will have a fine cab. I have one open and one closed back.

Thanks for the Lopo tip. I was planning on adding to the speaker cab arsenal in the next few months. Was planning on a 1-12 w/ a Celestian blue. I see Lopo offers cab kits made of Baltic birch all pre dado'ed and ready for assy. Best part is it's cheaper than buying the sheet of birch and hardware.

I have a Celestion Blue in one of my cabs and to my ears it sounds great. Like I said I did change the wiring and and the jack.
