Here's a new speaker from Mojo called the Greyhound. www.mojomusicalsupply.com/item.asp?pid=64050&pg=45004&id=9911235So far I haven't found anybody on any internet forum who has tried one, so maybe I'll be the first. I just got my unloaded Mojo 2x12" cab today from Port City Amps. It's a little smaller than a 4x12" cab, very cool looking. My current amp is a Z Route 66. I've read good comments about the Eminence Texas Heat when used with the 66. The Texas Heat has been described as "Marshall meets Fender", so maybe this Mojo British/American hybrid will also work well with the Route. Anyone wanna talk me out of ordering a pair of these?

I've never heard of one used either. I will say though, this comment scares me:
The Celestion Vintage 30 sounds like Sharon Stone going all Basic Instinct with an ice pick in my ear at times, so I can't imagine a brighter one!

The Celestion Vintage 30 sounds like Sharon Stone going all Basic Instinct with an ice pick in my ear at times, so I can't imagine a brighter one! Yes, the dreaded V30 ice pick. I had this thought too. I couldn't imagine that Mojo would want to build a speaker with a horribly spikey top end, but who knows. I'm not sure I want to be the first one to find out, so I'll probaby go with one of the Eminence models that I'm trying to choose between. I've been told that the Eminence Private Jack and Red Fang are too dark for the Route 66. So I'm looking at some of their brighter models such as Screamin Eagle, Stonehenge, etc.... If Weber wasn't so backlogged I'd probably order the Sliver Bells or some Scummies, but for immediate gratification I'll have to go with Celestion or Eminence. Thanks for talking me out of it!
