Wanted to ask some of you with more Z-experience if a Mesa 2-12 closed or open back cab loaded with Celestion V-30's would sound good with the Rx-es amp. Reason being I already have this cab and would save some cash not having to buy a Z-cab and Rx-es at the same time. I know the Dr. runs a V-30 and a H12 in some cabs so that may be an option,if anyone has any input or suggestions I would appreciate your comments,Thanks ,Chris

The RXES sounds great through any speakers, so yes, I think you'll be fine. Speakers are cheap enough so you can swap them out later on if you wish. My fav with the RXES is 2 Greenbacks FWIW.
Congrats on the Z !

Tele62 (Curt) is right on. I liked the RXES with an open back cab. Try mixing up the speakers in your 2x12 cab, for example a V30 and G12h for a different spectrum and response. And Congrats on the new RXES, it's a great amp.

Last ones I recall on teh Z board were rockstok prsnstrat. I think they sold but you can send either a PM. Since Bentop has been putting out some killer RXES sound clips there's gonna be a demand. Ever see or hear 'Wicked Earth' playing in the Pitt area?

Heard the name but never seen them, what type of music they do?, I'm mainly blues/rock,more blues based,We have the Pittsburgh Blues Society here which promotes and gives alot of local talent some well deserved exposure.

They are a 3 piece rock band, not classic - not metal. My wife was playing Daughtry (American Idol) and it sounded similar to Wicked Earth. The drummer is married to my cousin so I might be partial. ;D I tried to warn her... what you're marrying a DRUMMER! He's a great guy...
