Would someone please point me in the direction where to find/purchase mic holders that clamp to a speaker cabinet?

The Original "Z" is a metal bracket that mounts thru the carry strap and holds a mic right in front of the speaker. They're sold in an ad in the back of Pro Sound News. I'm sure there are other ways to find them. Try Google.
I made one for myself from some 1/8" x 2" aluminum strap, bent to fit, and I mounted a mic holder on it. I don't use it too often, but when the sound guy asks for a cab mic, I pull this out with my SM57 in it, and the sound guy always goes "Wow!"
The other option is the Sennhieser mic made to hang right in front of the speaker. They sound pretty good.

Hey, doc001: I found the item. It's called a Z-Bar. Tour Supply Inc in NYC has them for $19.95. There's a pic on their site under "Problem Solvers".
Good Luck, Texas Jim

Thanks there Texas, I just spotted one on the-bay! They do look easy enough to make.
I like the Sennhieser option even better, gonna hafta save for a good one though.
