Anyone ever try an Eminence Legend V12 with a Z amp? Particularly a Maz or a Ray? Some say they sound a bit Alnico-ish for a ceramic magnet and are not harsh in the highs at all. Just wondering what others' mileage may be?
Thanks so much!!
Respectfully, Brandon

I have an Earcandy Sovereign with a Legend, not sure of the model, and I love it. Especially with the Maz 38 senior I just scored. It's a very balanced speaker. I've been threatening to get a Eminence Governor, or a Weber silver ceramic but the Maz loves this speaker so I'm not going to touch it. The Earcandy Sovereign is closed back, front ported and is what I'm used to sonic-ally. I'm more of a loud clean with the occasional hard rock distortion dialed up kind of player, so the cab suites my playing style. The Maz also sounds fantastic through my little Groove Tube Solo-Single combo cab which has a Celestion blue. It's a different vibe for sure, but also great. I have detected no harshness at all with my set up. The Maz has a ton of high end, but it's a very musical high end, and the cut control easily gives you a darker sound if rolled all the way off.
