Hi i was wondering what reverb pedals people have been using to get a good tone with the reverb?
My signal path
Strat/tele - strobe tuner - Wah - Volume - delay - ep booster
I was going to be the reverb between the volume and delay.
I will also be wanting leave the pedal on most of the time with my delay pedal coming in and out. The gain on the amp set quite high as well as using the tone bypass.
Is this a bad decision? I'm really happy with the amps tone but a bit of reverb is always nice I just don't want to step on the tone bypass and horrible noise erupt from the amp.
I guessing with my setup it will not work?
I have been looking at the Mad Pro silver reverb or the Stymon Flint

I'm using the Strymon Flint and I really like it. I run mine before a Wampler delay into the front end. I don't run high gain though, I do use the bypass with the high and low volumes around noon. I use other pedals for additional gain and the Flynt works well in that configuration.

Nope, no chance. If I keep mine in low gain, clean mode, then your choices are plenty and I reckon they don't get much better than the Mad Prof Silver Spring, but if you're running the amp hot, and kicking in the EQ Bypass, it sounds awful! I've trained my ears to do without reverb........ and I like it better!!

Real shame that it messes with the sound so much. At gigs I don't miss it as you get a natural room reverb but at home it sounds a little dry.
Oh well guess ill have to live with it. The delay first of all didn't work well but I found a way with the settings.
I might risk getting the mad pro reverb to see if I can use it for home

I'd love to hear your opinion on the MP Silver Spring as that looks to be an excellent pedal.

Be interesting to see if the silver spring reverb actually works with the remedy as it was designed to run along dirty and clean amps! Does not affect the dry signal. I'll let you know how I get on with it!
