Z-Best: Weber Silver Bell 50watt and Weber Blue Dog 50 watt. I like this speaker combo, but where do you place the mic for live performances? If it's in front of just one w/ a SM57, then you miss what the other speaker is bringing to the mix. Z 2x12: G12H and V30. Same question - where to place the mic to take advantage of what both speakers are bringing to the mix.... Surreal McCoy

The only way to do that is to double mic. If you are talking about a live gig, then just pick a speaker, stick the 57 on, and there you go. Your audience won't be able to tell! ;D
Seriously, though. When I'm using the Blue/Silver combo, I mic whichever speaker I think fits the gig. If it's a band playing a lot of classic rock stuff, I'll mic the Silver. If it's a country thing, I'll go with the Blue.
