We had an outdoor gig last Friday, and the stage (if it could be called so) was really tiny. Antonio (he was playing his Marshall Jubilee combo) and I decided to play straight into the amps, so we could save a little room onstage. My Remedy was at full power, one click on the BL, semi-open back cab loaded with the Creamback. Volumewise, it was perfect for the venue, as we only had the vocals, kick drum and snare through the speakers. I didn't even use the tuner, instead I used my clip tuner on the headstock. I rediscovered the pleasure of using only the pickup selector, guitar volume and hand pick attack. It was a bit strange in the beginning, but once we got started, I forgot about the missing pedals. I surely missed my wah, but not my Draconis or my Treble Booster. Even I used the pickup selector and volume pot instead of my tremolo. I wish I could do this everytime I play, but unfortunately it won't be possible. Thanks Doc for this tonal beast that the Remedy is. Tons of tone!!

Andy your preaching to the choir now! I been telling these guys the same thing over and over. The remedy sounds so good you don't need any pedals! Just plug in and play. Ride those volume and tone controls and feel the amp and the tone. I miss my delay on some slower stuff but thats about it.
