Hi
I'm a strat/tele and currently got a MAz 18nr head into a drz 1x12 cab. I was looking at changing my amp and was looking at the antidote but revrand reccomended me to have a look at the remedy to suit my needs.
I play in a blues band and a couple of function bands too and from what I hear this amp can cover great cleans and overdrive tones.
Is there any videos of the remedy in action with a start/tele that uses the master and the tone bypass mod. I hear its better than the maz.
Also would you guys thinks the remedy is better suited than the maz to get SRV cleans - Slash overdrive sounds?

I don't know of any videos that exist but I could possibly record one at my upcoming show Friday night. Let me see what I can do.
I own both and both are great amps. They are different when it comes to gain. The cleans from both amps are great however the MAZ can cover more ground when it comes to Fender, Vox and Marshall than the Remedy. It really depends what speaker you use. If you want Slash tones, you need a Vintage 30.

Our Z brother roknfnrol has done a ton of YouTubes using the Remedy. Now he tends to use a Les Paul HBs or an LP Junior P90s, but look at his channel as I think there may be a couple with Teles too. Here's one showing the EQ Bypass to great effect

Just ordered the remedy from Peaches UK. Will get it on thursday! Whoop looking forward to testing it out Having followed your posts in the Antidote section and reading about your amp needs, I think you made a great choice with the new Remedy. I think the Master Volume will help you fit it into the variety of playing situations you have. The Antidote is an awesome amp, but like Doc said early on, it's going to be best on large stages. You'll get lots of the same flavor vintage tones from the Remedy with the ability to dial it to the volume you need. Congrats on the soon to be new amp! Keep us posted on how you like it.

Yes I didn't think of the remedy but looking at what you can dial in seems to be the best fit.
Thanks for all your help.
It's amazing what you get with remedy for the price you pay, in fact any dr z amp.
If only I can afford the Maz too. Will see. Got a 7 day trail!!

Love my Rem....which I use in a variety band and a country/rock band. I set it pretty clean and use some pedals (and the EQ bypass) for added gain. Let us know what you think.
