I have a friend that I think I've talked into buying a Z-28. He's been using an early 90's version of a Fender Blues Deville. Not a bad amp, and actually sounds pretty good with some Webers he put in.
Here's the thing-
The Webers are great, as I think he has two 10F150's and 2 10A125's. But they are 8 ohms...
He wants to keep the Webers, so he's wanting to get a Z-28 head and put the Webrs in a 4 10" cab..
Since the Fender runs at 2 ohms, the 8 ohm Webers work in the traditional way in the Fender.
So what would be the easiest way to use these speakers in a Z-28, since it only has 4 and 8 ohm taps?
The impredence calculations are too much for my brain right now...LOL

Wire 2 speakers in parallel and do the same with the other 2. Then, wire the 2 "sets" in series. That will give you 8 ohms.
