Hey guys, I'm visiting my gramps in Nashville... And he has 2 Z wrecks, unfortunately he has 2 cabinets and only 1 amp head. Is there a way to control 2 cabinets simultaneously with only one amp head? If so, is there some cable I need to purchase? Second, he does have a Tony Bruno Underground 45 amp head. can I connect this to the Z wreck? ... I'm just learning this amp stuff and I don't really know the answer... Thanks 2 anyone who can help!

I wish I knew enough to help you out here but anything I say might result in a service call. Just give the the boys at Dr Z a call.

Are the cabinets both the standard Z Wreck cabinets with the Celestion Blue/Gold speakers? If so and if they are both wired for 16 ohms, then you would need to get a parallel speaker adapter so you could plug both cabinets into the amp head. Running the 2 speaker cabinets with the parallel cable will result in an 8 ohm load so you would plug the adapter into the 8 ohm jack on the back of the amp. You could buy the adapter at a Guitar Center or better yet, one of our friends on this forum makes very high quality cables. This is what you need here - procablesnsound.com/items/speaker-y-cables/power-y-adapter-70001-detail.htmAs for the Bruno amp, it is 36 watts and the Z Wreck cabinet will handle up to 30 watts. I would not suggest you hook the Bruno up to the Z Wreck cabinet with both the Blue and Gold speakers connected. The blue speaker is the weaker one (15 watts) here so you could blow it. What you could do is disconnect the Blue speaker and just use the Gold with the Bruno. The Gold handles 50 watts. Running the Bruno into the Z Wreck cabinet with just the Gold will be fine. Just be sure to use the 8 ohm output on the back of the Bruno amp.
