I bought a used 1-12 Z Best in which the previous owner installed a Jensen MOD 1-12 speaker. The MOD lacks low end and is quite brittle sounding on the top end. Looking for a speaker that has a tight low end and smooth top end. I'm matching the cab up manily with my RXES but I also have a MAZ 18 JR. NR head that I'll use on smaller gigs.
I'm open for suggestions.

I'm open for suggestions. For British flavor, try an Emi Tonker. For American tone, try an Emi Swamp Thang. For American tone with very smooth top end, try an Emi Cannabis Rex. I've owned all three and the all have big bass and sound huge. My personal preference is the Tonker. Steve
