I have been gigging with my new zwreck for a few weeks now and I can say without a doubt, best amp ever. And I have been playing for 31 year now! Been getting compliments every gig from non musicians and the guitar guys here in town are all green. Seems I'm the only guy around here in a gigging band that has one.
Anyway I want to but a backup set of tubes for the amp. Only thing is that the rectifier tube has no label on it. No clue what it is.
Anybody know?

Oddly, the Z Wreck is not listed in the tube info section of the Dr Z website. Email your question to repairs@drzamps.com or sales@drzamps.com.
It currently appears that many of the Zs are shipping with Sovtek 5AR4s.

The rectifier tube imho has little effect on tone. It would come down to personal preference/longevity for me.
