So I traded with a member here for a Remedy in I think April or May. I have liked it. And as mostly a Strat guy I had a nice pretty clean amp for the most part. That was until I recently decided I needed a Les Paul. Oh my. This is what it is all about. Talk about the sound of rock and roll. I knew all this, but until you try it, you have no idea. Like I need to tell you guys. As a side note, with the EP Booster, complete ridiculousness. My poor neighbors.

You should have known that from when you played mine...

Yes I know. I was kind of out of it that day. At least I came around.

Love your set up ! What kind of speaker do have in your cab ( if it's a 1x12)? I just played mine again tonight with my G&L Skyhawk (Strat) and my Les Paul Special at a gig and they sound stellar through the Celestion Gold. You'll never hear benttop say that though

I have a G12H30 in there. That is what came with it. I do want to try something else though. Maybe a gold. I have been looking at the scumbacks too. Nice cab, BTW.

I use a Gold In a 1/12 cab open back and its just wonderful with my strats. Now with the les paul and the Z-Best and two greenbacks its just ridiculous. 70's Rock tone to the bone. Lovely. Hendrix tone with the strat/greenbacks and Zep tone with the les paul. I cannot be more satisfied with my tone Im getting now with my remedy and these two cabs. Heck sometimes I don't even use my effects pedals. Just plug in an play and ride the volume and tone nobs on your guitars.

I hear ya! I'm a Strat guy, and use quite hot pups, so adding in an EP and a low gain OD when needed, I cannot believe how versatile this rig is! I don't own a LP so can't follow your lead there (I don't want to waste time with my Epi LP - I would rather wait and get the real thing)

To my ears, worst speaker ever with the Remedy. And it's even worse if it's in a closed back cab. Best= greenback Hard rock= V30 Others have liked the Gold and the G12-65.

Actually I have to say the Remedy has sounded great with any speaker I've tried. I happen to like the Gold the most, but the Remedy is up to the task with anything.

I tried several different speakers/cabs with mine. and when I put a WGS alnico 12" in my Z conv. cab, there it was...the sound of 60's/70's rock I grew up on. My next favorite choice is a closed-back 2X10 with G10 Greenbacks...just classic tone.
