A friend's Maz 38r combo is sick.
Power it up, standby to on after a min or so, and the noise is a humm that increases to a cab rattling buzz.
All tubes have been swapped out. Problem happens with all knobs off (at zero) which tells me it must be a short or bad solder somewhere just before the power section? Not sure.
He will be taking it to a tech but I found the problem interesting.

Did you swap the rectifier tube (kind of hidden in the back) also?

Make the reverb cables are on tight. This happened to me a while back. Good luck and please keep us posted.

Resolved.
As expected, a simple look under the hood would have (and did, in the end) revealed the problem.
My buddy took the amp to a local tech, who discovered a disconnected wire from the second 12ax7 tube. Simple fix, and good as new! Gotta love simple (cheap) solutions.

Simple to me would be a tube swap.
Glad you got her fixed.
