anyone have a Reverend guitar? Went and saw a friend last night (Jason Isbell, formerly of Drive-By Truckers)...he was playing a Reverend Flatroc guitar. Sounded amazing. Nice trem setup on it, too. talked w/ him about it and he seemed to love em. Also saw a review of someone who plays w/ them thru their Maz Jr..high remarks.
curious...!

I've wanked on one unplugged, felt great to me. If I was to bite It'd be the FlatRock.....in Orange My Jones for Filtertrons is running high these day's.

I have heard nothing but good things about this guitar. I own a Reverend Club King with P90's and it sounds great.

I'm with Curt. Filtertrons are a wonderful thing. I once had an early 60s double cut 6120 and later a Super Chet. Those pickups fall right between humbuckers and single coils, when they're not overwound. I traded the early 60s one in on a Travis Bean, of all things. that's a whole 'nuther story.

The Reverend guitars are fantastic! I use an old Reverend Slingshot with P90's with my Maz 38 - sounds absolutely phenomenal, and the sustain is ridiculous. If you can find an old U.S. built Reverend on eBay - snap one up! you wont regret it!

this seems to be the general consensus among everyone I've talked with. I went down to Nashville yesterday and played a few and they felt great! The tremelo setup on these things is super nice...and they stay in tune!! Pretty reasonable prices, too! The one I heard on Friday night at my buddies show was fantastic. Really got me gas'd up.
