Yes it's a Presciption Combo(misspelled logo) not to be confused with a Prescription, with claimed factory reverb. I've been after this one for quite awhile and finally snagged it at a somewhat fair price. It's a 2x12 combo in blond and I think it's a '96. I've been gigging the original Rx for a few months and have been very happy.
Hope to see it late next week and I'll post some pics if anyone is interested.
now for the wait rp

I looked at that same amp but couldn't pull the trigger for fear of the wife taking my trigger finger! Looked to be a very reasonable deal! Not as good as the $863 Stangray 2x12 blues combo but not a bad deal! One of these days I'll have to get over there and take a look at all the goodness you have there

I also haven't told my better half yet because I bought 2 new guitars in the last 3 days. You should definitely stop by some time, I wish I could make the mini Z fest because I could bring some goodies. I had an employee leave on short notice and we're a bit short handed right now. take care Mike

I remember watching that one a few times. Should be interesting if we can get the scoop from Doc on it.

Well I got it with the chassis and cab packed separately, good idea for a 2x12 combo. I haven't had time to put it together yet so here's the first photo. E mailed Brent and he said it looked all stock and may be the only one with reverb ;D ;D. Pretty cool, hope I get to put it together in the next month so I can play it.

It is amazing how clean the insides of Z amps look compared to most others. Nice, neat and crisp. My other favorite amp for wiring is the early Hiwatt DR3s. They took time to make 90 degree bends in the wiring in most places. Talk about caring how your amp looks and sounds! Keep us up to speed on how it comes out!

thanks Mike, did you get yours back yet? I gotta say I have a Wreck but it's become a backup to the RX. The down fall is that there pretty old and I have two that are down, I think filter caps.

Mine came back about two weeks ago. Doc sent a note saying "this RX sounds amazing" - and he is right. Right now I'm running the two RXs into Headbone and then into a Z-best standard speaker cab. The difference in the tone between the two amps is amazing. Both sound great through the Z-best. On Saturday, Tom is bringing me a green levant tolex Z-best with Weber speakers. It is from around the same era and should match my green RX exactly. Here's a link to a Hiwatt dr103 wiring: www.google.com/search?q=hiwatt+dr103&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari#biv=i|4;d|PptG0Ss44SmzWM:
