Hey Guys,
Do you think the Doc will ever come out with a Z Wreck 1x12 or 2x12 combo? That would be awesome if he did! I played the Z Wreck once and was blown AWAY!!! I'd love to have it if it were in a combo version. I've always liked combos more than head/cab. I have a Ray now and i'm VERY pleased with it!!

I would not think so either. Part of the sound of the Z Wreck is the special 2x12 cabinet. You will notice that the dimensions are different than the regular Dr Z 2x12 and the back has an oval shaped cut-out. All of this was designed with the Z Wreck voicing in mind. I tried the Z Wreck through my Z Best and it sounds different than with the 2x12 that came with it. Don't worry though, Dr Z makes several combos that sound great.

I can't wait to check out the M-12. It's not billed as a Z Wreck Jr but it is supposed to be wreck flavored. We'll be hearing it as soon as the Dr. ships our order which I hope will be this week. I could off the Mesa 22+ which I've kept for the needed small amp. The MAZ8 didn't really crank my clock. But the M-12 sounds like it could be sweet. 2-10s Umm? maybe. drzamps.com/amp/m12

Trainwreck inspired amps are on the edge of oscillation and instability already. I can't imagine putting them in a combo. They make nice looking heads though!

I'd buy a Zwreck combo 2X12. Just the connivence of a combo in a road case and 1 single amp you can put in your trunk and be set up in moments. That's what I like! I bet Dr.Z might sell a bit more amps. Today it seems to be the fashion to use combo amps for bands unless you're a mega metal band. Brad uses a lot of combos!

I finally got a chance today to honk for awhile on an M-12 with one of my guitars and my pedal board. I ran it through the wickets until I was satisfied. For my money (literally, 'cause I'm going to buy one) The M12 is the Z-Wreck Jr. It presents a little different than the comfort setting giving a little more mid-range bite. I've never played my wreck on the speed setting so I can't say how that compares. It doesn't have the headroom or the low end authority of a Z-Wreck. The low end extension of the Z-wreck head is there in the pre but a single 12 and 12 watts is a single 12 and 12 watts. What it's got is the touch transparency and the character of a Z-Wreck. It acts exactly the same with the pedal board output and shows the strengths and weakness's of the pedal board in the same way. It will fit under a grand piano or on a tight stage. Also, it's roughly the size and weight of a Mesa Studio 22+ which it will replace in my tool kit. Speaking strictly for myself.... M-12= Z-wreck Jr.

iM GONNA STAY Positive on this one.... ;D they make heads in different colors, maybe they will make a Combo. The Z Wreck sounds KILLER. I bet it would sound good with a V30 LOL not knocking the V30 but its not the most desired speaker to couple with the Wreck, a 1x12 Gold Loaded Combo, with a Brakelite installed , It sounds GOODE!!!! I'll take the First one! I LOve my RAY but the WReck just JAMS!!!!! it is on my Wishlist
