Lovable NY gangster joins the witness protection program and asks to be relocated in Lilyhammer. Why? He believes it's the last place that anyone would look for him to be...and so the story begins.
So far my daughter and I have watched 7 episodes, and it just gets more interesting as "Johnny" goes about starting a new life.
Will you got hooked too?

I started watching it but lost interest. Too much reading going on.

Even after thinking about it for a couple of hours I still don't understand what you mean by "too much reading going on". Not to worry, we all like different things & this wasn't your cup of tea.

Subtitles.
It's the whole language thing. He speaks English and understands them fluently and vice versa. It's all or nothing for me.

Yep I'm in! I'm 5 episodes in, pretty funny stuff. It seems like van zandt's face would get sore with the downturned mouth.

Lefty, that didn't bother me at all.
aholland, wait till you hear the whopper Johnny tells his right hand man toward the end of espisode 8!!! (oh that Johnny)
Series 2 won't be available for a while because (are you ready for this) "Steve Van Zandt is touring with Springsteen" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lilyhammer
