Hey guys this may be kinda weird but my Father and his life long buddies are trying to buy one of there friends a custom guitar strap with all the bells. I mean like 500-1000 dollar guitar strap. I know there are companies out there who make custom straps like this but I've yet to find them I think. I know this sounds strange and I think its pretty rediculous when there are kids out there who would love to even have an entire guitar rig that costs 1000 dollars. But I love my father and will obey him. Anyways, could ya'll maybe point me in the right direction?
Thanks

And they aren't that expensive, they are however, the best. www.moodyleather.com/peace, Alex

I hope if one day I am ever surrounded by rich friends who get the harebrained idea that I need a 1000$ strap they'll come to their senses and donate 1000$ to a worthy cause in my name. Like... buy 10 beginner guitars and give them to kids who can't afford them. :\
Not to cast aspersions on your father, I just think that money could be better spent. My own personal opinion.

Having read your post, I have now decided to sell all 4 of my guitar straps. The price is $795 each, but if you see one your dad's friend would really like, I might knock off a hundred dollars or so.

Moody's makes a really great strap, the best I've had. Also, Double Treble does a very good job, too.

I hope that strap for 1G is going on a really special guitar. Would hate to see it get attached to a $300 Yamaha, no matter how good friends they all are.

My definition of an expensive guitar strap is the one that comes undone and drops the guitar.

www.medinamade.com/These are really nice custom made straps - the guy will do any sort of design, and they have really amazing tooling and colors. I keep itching for one, then realize that my $30 straps do just as good of a job holding my guitar up (they sure don't look as sweet, though). Ah well.

Okay since we're on the topic. I've been looking for a wide cloth strap? You know Santana Hippie deal. Anyone got any lines on that?
