I have a bud that has a Tele type, he has consigned several others and swears they are killers. His T replaced his long time #1 minty '67 Telecaster FWIW.

Worlds ugliest headstock and logo, to me! Obviously some people like it. The guitar community is a diverse group and I'm glad of it!

Yeah - the first time I saw one, I was shocked by how friggin' ugly that headstock was. I was really impressed by how they played and sounded (and how light they were), but I just can't get over that headstock. And I know this sounds shallow, but I think the real kicker was when I went to his site, and on the section for his "Classic" was a quote by him, basically stating that he really didn't care for the whole vintage thing, but people really seemed to want vintage-style guitars, so "you wanted it, you got it." They might be really nice guitars, but I just have a hard time buying something from someone who doesn't seem enthusiastic about his product. www.tylerguitars.com/classic1.htm
