Here`s a vid on a Stratocaster CS test through a DrZ Zwreck. Hopefully the vid can be of some sort of help if you are in the market for a new CS strat, pick ups or a new amp. We had a great time making this. All the guitars sounds great, but there are tonal differences between them. At least I know of one person who already has decided on a pickup-swap after seeing this vid. He`s one of the players! Search "Hell ampfest 28.1.12" on Youtube if you want to see the whole vid. Theres more Zwreck stuff on that vid.

Cool! Great sounds there. Couldn't go wrong with any of them for sure. But what is a "brigde" pickup? //ducks

"An accident ;D" Just kiddding. I don't spend much time in the bridge, but positions 2 & 4 are my favourites. Keith

i've back to this video numerous times, then plugged in my 93 Am Std strat that i popped SCN pups in a year ago. Not getting the strat vibe like these guitars, must be those pickups.
Time for a change I guess!

However, I actually like that. My other Strat has Texas Specials and out of the two guitars, I like the SCNs better in the Wreck. I'm sure I'll change my mind over time! I do like those Strat sounds in the video, though. Keith

Keith Yeah not feeling the love of SCN's into the Z Wreck. They just sound "strat-y" enough for me. I guess "muted" is a good description. I'm guessing I could sell em, and get Vineham to wind me a nice set, once I figure out the specs I want...... J5

I had an easy time picking out my favorite guitar - i's the '60 loaded with Falin Bluse Specials. The '62 Braz came in a close second though. My least favorite on all pickup positions was the one loaded with Dimarzios - way to hot & fuzzy.
BTW, I Love the bridge pick-up in my Callaham "S". (Fralin low output)
