John, how's Braintree and your business? Look at how many Z's and guitars some people on this site have! The Gatton is seriously good, the Bardens need a bit of taming being a bit bright. Hohn on this site posted a video and soundclip of his Stangray and Zion strat cw Barden PU's. Top demo.

John, This site is great but all this talk of more amps and guitars is too much temptation. Buddy has been using a KT45 on John M's new album, have you tried one? You've got a lovely PRS single cut on your site, artist pack. They are lush!

John, That single cut really is a beauty! i'm just in the process of getting everything properly photographed for the site and it has made a helluva difference getting those PRS and Andersons looking good on the site! Just had some more Fulltone gear in, i need to take home one of those Tube Tape echos me thinks!

I could be interested in that PRS. I had a CU22 but didn't like the trem or the rotary selector.

John. I sold my beautiful PRS CU 22 last month, I am seriously missing that baby. I have a Hugh Manson Firebird that does the business and looks fabulous. I do lust after your McCarty though. I'm seriously interested. It comes with a case etc? John Boy

John, I'm looking forward to getting the PRS. I'm using a Ghia, have you tried a humbucker loaded guitar on any of Z's amps? I was planning on getting a Boogie until I discovered the Dr, you're an authority on Boogies I believe? John

John, As with all the Z amps any good quality axe will always sound amazing! i've managed to pull some killer Freddie King tones out of the Maz series amps with a 335! put that PRS through your Z and you'll be in Dave Grissom territory for sure!! Have been known to use a Boogie or 2 in the past but i'm gonna have a Z in the next few days as our delivery is being shipped today!!!!!! John

John, it sounds and looks super. Mansons in Exeter have a second hand one fitted with bare knuckles, I love BK pickups but not on the McCarty. I'm a Strat enthusiast but really missed the PRS. That will have to do on the guitar front for now. I'll check out you're site for the Z's. Which one's are arriving? Again, top service mate, highly recommended.

John, Blimey looking at your website you have shifted some gear! Judging by comments on this site I could get v interested in a Z28. Your Band's website is interesting. What guitars do you play? I am a huge Rory Gallagher fan and SRV of course. Buddy W is my favourite player now though, he's a geezer. Well done on the business front. John Boy

Hi John, Thanks for your e-mail, i'll keep on as i am as we seem to be going pretty well! I've just had a mint condition Z28 in black come in ;-) My main influences are SRV, tom morello and John Frusciante, 3 guitarists that you wouldn't associate together! Not surprisingly i'm strats all the way but i've had a real tasty Gibson 336 come in that i may have to adopt!!!

What cabs are suited to the Z28? I've got a Z best 1X12 at the mo.

the 1x12 is great but i really love the 2x10 cabs, they just sound downright rude!!!!

How old is the S/H Z28 and what condition is it? If it's been gigged a lot I'd probably give it a miss.

Fortunately this site has lured me away from the Lonestar....too many controls anyway. Z28 looks like a better choice

Exactly! Where is it? I've seen BW's strat type and photo's of them but here in the UK you've more chance of seeing Rocking Horse Faeces. Have you got it yet?
