I'm still loving my Monza, even though I have picked up a Z28 and a Maz 8 since getting my little red monster
there is nothing like the smile that swells up inside as I roll the volume and drive knobs toward wide open!!

Yeah - I've GOT to get that MV mod done soon! I have been having an "issue" with my Monza. It always had this high end fizz whenever I turned the "Volume" past about 9:00. I just figured it was part of the design. I thought maybe it was the BL, so I turned it down to Zero clicks and - nope - fizz still there. So yesterday, a thought struck me. Instead of Zero clicks, what if I take the BL out of the chain altogether? Bingo! I couldn't believe how the fizz went away. And what a glorious sounding amp!!! Beautiful tones. Only "issue" left is the volume. And that fix is available to me! I am SO looking forward to the MV mod. It will likely make the Monza my #1 amp for all applications. Just love this thing. I don't need any dirt pedals AT ALL with it. Just the guitar volume and tone. And a Snark!

So, how much $ is the mv mod? Had it done to the Gal, it was 150 or so, money well spent.
