I just ordered the Callaham Bridge Assembly for my 62 RI Strat.
I know alot of you have raved about their Tele parts, so I bought it from those reviews.
Does anyone have experience with their Strat parts?
I'm hoping to reduce string breakage on the High E(mine always seems to break at the bridge). Without losing the Strat "sound"
I used Graphtech saddles on it for about 4 years and were great for eliminating string breakage, but just recently switched it back as I was gonna sell it, and realized how great it plays and sounds set up stock.
Do these parts really seem to do what they claim? Enhance sustain, definition, etc.?

Yes they absolutely do what they claim to do. At least for me. I first tried the tele bridge assembly which is what had me convinced. The Strat assembly I think had a bigger impact to the sound to my ears than the tele bridge. My strat now sounds incredible and it sounded great before the bridge. His parts are going to make your strat sound its best. After the bridge the guitar just sounded sweeter. Like the way a strat should sound. He is after all recreating the old steel blocks and parts that were available on vintage strats of the 50's and 60's, so you can't go wrong with his stuff. Basically he is recreating and improving on the original design and metallurgy that made the old Strats sound special. If you got a good piece of wood this will make your guitar sound like an amazing old strat with less string breakage.

I did his Mexican Upgrade on my Squire Strat and it was a nice improvement to my ears.
Much better note clarity and added sustain.
I couldn't promise that you'd notice it as much with say, a USA Strat that already has a solid block and good vintage saddles.

I added Callaham's bridge and steel block to my two strats. I've been using his stuff for the past 4 years. I also changed my strat and tele saddles to titanium. They have a greater harmonic content and they don't corrode. Rick

Another vote for the yes side. I did his Mexi-Strat bridge and it made a clear improvement to sound and especially smoothness and playability. It works so well I'm thinking about putting one on my 63--the bridge is old and cranky on that one. Don't think you can go wrong with Callaham.
