The guitar, that is. I've been primarily a Strat and Tele player since I sold my LP in '79. I changed to SC's for the open, airy quality and liked the fact that Strats require more effort to play, (it helped slow me down and phase out the Mahavishnu influence). And I thought with my old 335 standing by I wasn't missing anything. This weekend I subbed in a band and they asked me to play their LP equipped with '57 Classics. I was knocked out! Every note was like candy. With both p'ups engaged the guitar had plenty of twang and it really "spoke" on pedal steel type licks. The small neck was fast, worn in and ultra playable. It was cruise control. Total luxury. . Yes, I'm GASsing.

................just when you say Heck with gibson ......and decide its time for a Grosh or PRS or Anderson etc.......You bump into a killer Paul or 335 that makes you "rethink" your current plan!

Naw, Squeally...went with the Tokai.
Been debating the big Bucker Debate...Fralin's (love the Single Coils), SD Pearly Gates, WCR Fillmores...etc.
