Just curious if it had any negative feedback in its circuit, sadly there isn't a whole lot of info about its circuit design out there, I guess because of damned copycats!
I thought I read somewhere that the power filtering was on a different board than the signal, that's pretty interesting!
Anyone else know anything cool/interesting/unique about the Z-Wreck?

I'm pretty sure there is no negative FB and all the filtering except for V1 is on another board. Also V1 is only using one half of the dual triode so the amp has 3 gain stages before the PI. Killer sounding amp, can't wait for my new one. rp

Wow, 3 gain stages! Almost makes you wonder why they didn't just go with an EF86, but ofcourse these guys know what they are doing and I'm sure they have their reasons.

The Stangray is a very clean amp, though of course it can get some great output tube distortion when cranked, whereas everything I've read/heard about the Z-Wreck it's more of a medium-gain amp, gainy-er, dirty-er, chewy-er than a Stangray.

Find one. Play through it with a single coil. Play through it with a hum bucker. Play through it with a familiar pedal between the amp and guitar.
At that point, I doubt you'll care if it has:
1 gain stage or 12, is class a, a/b or d, Pentode, triode, no trem, verb, master vol, or effects loop If it is available in ostrich hide, flocked wallpaper or babinga.....
You'll just want one.

It WOULD be nice if it were a little less expensive. But other than that....no.
